This month’s feature documentary is, 'Resilient The Aseniwuche Winewak Story', by urban Indigenous filmmaker, Len Morissette (C.I.A. Solutions). Originally from Saskatchewan Mistawasis Band, Len spent his elementary and high school years in Vernon, BC, and now resides in Grand Praire, Alberta. ‘Resilient’ is the story of the Aseniwuche Winewak Nation who have struggled to maintain their identity, culture and land in a world that constantly changes the rules, and refuses to officially acknowledge them as being Indigenous.
In the lobby, sample 3 flavours of ‘Salsational Salsa’, and shop unique artisan items from GinkgoteethDesigns, and Sharing Mela’hma.
